Skeletal Kiridashi knives! Solid 80CRV2 waterjetted steel from New Jersey Steel Baron. Kiridashis are a popular Japanese utility knife, useful for soooo many daily tasks, as well as carving and carpentry. The literal English translation of the word means “to carve” due to the small blade length, these are legal nearly everywhere. Don’t let the size fool you though. Still very, very effective as a tool for whatever task you may need it for. If you get attacked by a rabid watermelon, this will reach the soft spots.
Blade Length: 1.75”
Overall Length: 5”
Weight: 1 Oz
Weight With Sheath: 1.5 Oz
Grind: traditional Asymmetrical chisel grind, mostly flat with a light convex finish. Easy shape for maintenance sharpening.
The Sheaths have a loop on the back to string cordage or a chain through for wear around the neck, and are also slim enough to easily just slip into your pocket. They could also be attached to a belt or belt loop using a carabiner.
Color reference: in the photo where they are arranged in a vertical line, from top to bottom: Red, Blue, Purple, Green, Mahogany, Black.
I am a big proponent of class consciousness and solidarity. As a proud member of the artisan peasant class, I will never forget where I came from. I am committed to having a broad range of price points, as I want to make sure the proletariat can also access high quality tools.
