Behold! Er-Mûrazôr! Named after the witch king of Angmar from LOTR. This blade is sinister, elegant, and very Nazgûl coded. It is a bastard sword, meaning it can be comfortably wielded one or two handed.
It is forged from one solid piece of 5160 spring steel, with a full tang, perfectly balanced, with pyro painted texture on the pommel and guard for added style. The pommel, blade and guard are all one solid piece. The handle is carved African Blackwood with waxed artificial sinew wraps.
The blade is double edged with keen convex bevels on both sides; With a fuller running all the way down the blade to both lighten and stiffen the overall piece. It is extremely sturdy and absolutely functional. It has a beautiful flex and spring to it.
The blade etching is a serpentine DNA helix with eyes on both sides, with complimentary carving running down into the handle. The finish is intentionally antiqued to give it an ancient, battleworn feel.
The scabbard is stiffened leather with a belt frog (removable harness for belt attachment) textured, and hand stitched with high strength blood red cordage. It fits beautifully, you can shake it upside down without the blade falling out, and simultaneously effortlessly draw and re-sheath it.
